There are cases where it is not possible for a client to appear personally at our offices to sign the loan contract. He can be sick or elderly or not in the country. In these cases a relative or a representative may be granted a power of attorney by the client. This power of attorney can then be used to request a loan in the clients name. A simple example of a power of attorney is given below:
CURACAO N.A.
Dear representative at BIGNET B.V.
I “client name” grant “representative name” the power to represent me in all such matters that are necessary to apply for a loan request at BIGNET. I also empower him to sign any loan contract in my name.
Signed on the “date” , Curacao, Willemstad
‘Signature client’
